Basic Hydronics School (3 parts)

Pipe Fitters' Local 597 Training Facility 
This 3-week course will give you everything you need to know about basic hydronics.
Our first segment is on Near Boiler Piping: a discussion of hot water and steam systems, including expansion tanks, pump location, air-elimination devices, and correct piping. Our second segment is on Controls, including condensate pumps, low-water cutoffs, and feed and pump controls. The final installment is on Boiler Systems: the 'big picture' with respect to radiant and indirect domestic hot water systems.
There is a $50 per person cost to attend this course for members ($100 per person for non-members), and registrants must attend all three nights.
Introduction to Johnson Metasys Systems Programming School

- Direct digital controls fundamentals
- Basic menu-driven programming
- Conventional roof top unit programming
- Basic AHU programming
Service techs who have a laptop with HVAC Pro Software version 8.06 (found in suite of M-tools rev 5.4) are invited to bring their laptops. If you do not have this version of the software, please do not bring your computer.

Topics will include C burner gas/#2 oil start-up, adjustment and troubleshooting for Power Flame products. Our instructor will be Steve Groves of Power Flame.
